Again, not competitive, but having the OPTION to do so would be great. And turning off the wind would be cool too. Everyone hates that stupid tornado on Zelda's stage. Turning off hazards on maps would be really great too. Maybe even turning off everyone throws except DK because suicides with DK are great.ĥ. Having an actual option to do that in the menu would be really cool. It seems to balance things better, since ness and other characters can really abuse throws, and getting KO'ed by a throw is soooo lame. I know 64 smash isn't that balanced, but when my friends and I play, we always say, no throws, as our rule. I haven't seen this spoken before, but a NO THROWS option would be really cool. Having 3v1 games against a giant character would be pretty silly.Ĥ. Master hand could maybe be a costume option of jigglypuff. Just the additional feature makes causal games with friends that much more fun). It would add new spice to matches (and yes I know it wouldn't be used for competitions. I read through the history of this post and saw it spoken before, but I just want to reiterate that adding Giant DK, Metal Mario, and Master Hand as alternative CHARACTERS (not costumes) which can be accessed by switching the characters costumes would be really awesome. A simple guide would be very helpful information.ģ. Things like tournament mode, I don't know what changes that actually does to matchs. Going off of number 1, if there are items in 0.11, how am I suppose to know? There is no guide to the game, not that it needs to be super in depth, but a change log from the original game would be very cool and would help users navigate the 0.11 game. I just know lots of my casual friends will ***** about 19XXTE not having this feature and would rather just play the original Smash 64 so they can include items.Ģ. Obviously for competitions, this feature could/would be turned off. I also like that they add a new ability to the games, throwing items. I find many of the items add interesting aspects to matches. Having the ability to still add items to matches, if you want, is huge in my opinion. I know items aren't considered "competitive" but by removing this big feature of the the original game, it kind of hinders the greatness that 19XXTE could be. However, there are a few things I want to bring up:ġ Are their no items in version 0.11? The debug menu is replacing the items menu, and besides the star and heart, the other items seem to be missing from this list.
Pretty much everything added has been an additional feature to the original game, and not taking it away (with the exception of single player, and certain maps replacing others, but that is understandable).
Also, I will be testing the 0.11 on the original N64 system.įirst of all, loving everything so far. I hope it continues, I know this thread isn't the most active, but I just want to throw my 2 cents into the hat. Just got a started playing 0.11 19XXTE after I have been using the original smash game for years.
